The Association for Talent Development (ATD), the world’s largest membership organization for professionals who develop talent in the workplace, is pleased to announce that President Barack Obama will be the keynote speaker on Monday, May 7 during its International Conference & Exposition in San Diego, California.
President Obama’s remarks will open the conference as ATD welcomes attendees to San Diego, and special events will continue throughout the week as ATD celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2018.
The ATD International Conference & Exposition hosts more than 10,000 attendees from 75 countries. These professionals discuss best practices in developing the knowledge and skills of today’s workforce, new methods for delivering learning globally, and how to measure the impact of their work, among many other topics. ATD 2018 will feature:
• more than 50 opportunities for preconference learning in ATD certificate programs
• 300 education sessions and networking opportunities
• sessions translated into Chinese, Japanese, and Korean
• content tracks covering career development, instructional design, human capital, leadership development, learning technologies, management, measurement/analytics, training delivery, and more
• industry tracks for professionals in government, healthcare, higher education, and sales enablement.
The ATD International Conference features the largest EXPO dedicated to the talent development field, with more than 400 suppliers with the latest talent development tools and resources on hand to share and showcase their expertise.
